Day 24:
I'm so freakin' excited, given the inconsistent eating I've had over the past week to report....

Weigh day: 2/25: 198.6
3/3: 195.6
So encouraging!

Calories: 1636

Exercise: 30 min heavy cleaning.

Another busy day! I'm pooped, driving to visit family, and surprised my BF by detailing his car! Celebrated my mums birthday, woo hoo.

Fran that sounds yummy! I love trying new recipes, I especially enjoy carving out these new eating habits. The first time I tracked out my typical breakfast, my jaw hit the floor! It was over 800 calories, and a whole days worth of fat! Gosh, what a light bulb moment that was! I sstill eat a similar meal, just made it healthier.

Now, day 22:
Exercise: 45 minutes Harper DVd
Calories: 1501

Yay another day on track! Let's keep this going!

Yesterday, Day 20:
Exercise: 15 min.
Calories: 2532

Blech. Another crappy day. Moving on...

Day 21:
Exercise: 60 min.
Calories: 1470

Much better! Got a good night of sleep last night. Feeling good. Have to keep drinking water! That helps so much to keep  the over-eating urges in check. If anything, I'll eat dinner early. That's another back on track tactic that helps me.
Onward!

Had no energy for exercise. Waah. Not giving up! Tomorrow is a new day.

Day 18:

Exercise: 45 min.

Calories: 1500

Didit.

Forgot to mention yesterday's weigh in, I was up a little. Kind of disappointed, but I know it's not really a big deal. I'm making good choices! Most of the time! when I'm tempted to make bad choices or lose control, I've been saying OUT LOUD:

"I deserve to make good choices! I deserve to keep moving toward my goal, NOT make choices that take me further from it."

One of my stumbles in the past has been telling myself I "deserve" an off day, or whatever tempting treat it is that's tickling my fancy at the time. It's been helping so much, to take the edge off my off-track thinking!

Day 16:
Exercise: 60 min.
Calories: 1306

Back on track! I really put my all into the workout today, felt so good! Went grocery shopping today and bought 2 new foods: quinoa and kale. I hope I like them! Did not run into the challenge I expected to today, so that was good. Having dinner at my dads tomorrow, no idea what is on the menu! Overall a good day, looking forward to many more!

Day 15:

Tough one!
Exercise: 70 minutes total - Harper DVD and 25 min walking DVD

Calories: 1752

Yesterday's pizza victory disintegrated come lunchtime today!
I did take it slow, and wait a little while after the first serving, just to try and let the urge pass. I polished off the pizza, and tried to skimp at dinner to make up for it. I'll say it didn't happen that way, and leave it at that. :(
I got a little extra exercise just to sort of soothe my conscience. Was off to a rough start with the harper dvd, but after a little spark-spiration, i got through it! Working hard, preparing for More challenges over the next couple days. Stay tuned!

Day14:

Calories: 1435

Exercise: 30 minutes

2 weeks in today! Yay me, I've been so good! Tonight I am especially proud, as I made pizza for dinner (trigger food) and maintained control. I tracked the serving size before I sat down, and ate slowly, and enjoyed! My BF wolfed down 3 servings in the time I took with my 1! After I finished eating, I packed up the leftovers and declared they're not to be eaten until another mealtime. I'm mentally patting myself on the back. Goodnight!

Day 13:

Exercise: 45 minute Harper DVD (plenty of ST moves there)

Calories: 1503

Another fine day! I'm so grateful to be keeping my focus as well as I have. Making a few spark friends, and this daily posting for accountability have helped me so much! I suppose the clear goals I've set for each week's exercise are working for me too.

My boyfriend and I went shopping yesterday, and we browsed through the fitness equipment section. We saw heart-rate monitors, so I started checking out the different models. So expensive! But it reminded me of the deal I made with the BF, to keep making consistent effort! So I'm determined to keep going!!

Weird day, but got through and met my goals! I did even enjoy myself, went shopping and got shirts a size smaller than I had been wearing! Woo-hoo! Plus, resisted shopping mall food court junk! My boyfriend had burger king, but I wasn't interested. Waited till I got home for lunch. Another

Pushed harder than usual on it, but still modifying a few moves.
That's my whole fitness goal for the week, completed! Now I get to start over, yahoo! Lol!
I'm ecstatic I did it. Can you tell!? My goal for the upcoming week will be to weigh less often. Also need to work in some ST, so I will check out a new move each day. I'll post what my ST move is along with the other stats. Stay tuned! If anybody even reads this... emoticon

Another good day! Tomorrow is my weigh day, so I will post my progress on that front too. Did the math on my exercise goal, and the minimum it adds up to is 250 minutes. I think I've gone well over that for the week, and I still have one more day!

Thank you Jamespolo! Working on staying focused!

Day 7:
Calories: 1503

Exercise:60 min (walking dvd)

Did great today, even went out to eat at Applebee's for dinner and didn't blow it! I'm so glad they have the under 550 cal options there. Service sucked, but hey! Can't have it all, can you? The sodium content is astronomical too. I really don't understand why too much sodium is bad, but all I know is I'm super thirsty!

Did my whole video finally, barefoot no less! My new shoes are coming. Hoping to get the "gumption" up to do the Harper video tomorrow, I'm running out of week!

Day 6:
Calories 1498 (yea!)

Fitness: 15 minutes walking DVD

I need new sneakers! Mine were making my foot hurt :( Plus everything else was pretty sore today too so it's a "rest day." I ordered new sneaks, hopefully they come fast and do the trick! Keeping going even if I have to workout barefoot! emoticon

Day 5:
Calories: 1813
Fitness: 30 minutes walking DVD

My father in law stopped by with Valentine goodies for my daughter: a stuffed toy, and chocolates! :( my self-control went out the window! My stomach hurts and I'm kinda mad. I'm kinda oh well about it too.

Neither will help me in the long run! Bah! I shouldn't have opened them, but I figured a little sugar rush won't hurt her now. I did not figure I'd lose control. Hm.

Day 4:
Fitness: 20min. Heavy cleaning
35 min. Walking DVD

Calories: 1343

Good day today! Drinking lots of water really makes all the difference for me. I'm working in finishing a gallon jug today. Paying attention to hunger cues for the most part, lunch was a little early due to afternoon plans.

My goal is to get my eating under control, and exercise daily. I'm trying to pay closer attention to my body, and only eat when I'm hungry. I'm planning my meals, and keeping in my 1200-1550 range as suggested by spark.

Starting this journal to track daily my calories and exercise, so I can keep myself accountable. My exercise goal for now is to do my fitness DVDs, I have 2 and want to to each one twice per week. Other days, I will do a minimum 15 minutes of my walking DVD.

Anybody who'd like to be my accountability buddy would be welcome!
Day 1 was 2/9:
Calories: 1275
Fitness: 15 min. Walking DVD
Day 2:
Calories: 1439
Fitness: 15 minutes

Day 3:
Calories: 1447
Fitness: 45 minutes Harper DVD
Today has been soo busy! I did my workout early this morning, and it really amped up my energy and ambition for the day. Now it's midafternoon, and I'm pooped! Lol.
