I can't get out to jog/run because I have small children in tote so I just do jumping/jogging in the spot intervals in my living room. I use Coach Nicole's jump rope video to time my intervals. Btw, my living room is the smallest living room known to man. :/ You don't need a lot of space.
There's also plenty of aerobic videos on youtube or here at Sparkpeople.
"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.
It's currently about -29 and dropping where I am, and my asthma kicks in at about -10 or so, so my walk is not going to happen... downside is that it looks like this cold snap is going to stay around at least a few days (blizzard tomorrow)
Does anybody have any suggestions for cardio done indoors? I don't have any big equipment, mainly because I don't have much room, I can't do anything too high impact, due to a back injury, and I hate marching/walking in place.
Is beauty lost if you don't take the time to look for it?
