Glad to hear...Wish we could box up that feeling after we workout so that we could get a small taste of how good it makes us feel when we are discouraged.
Way to go!

You have terrific goals. Sounds like your head is in the right place.
I had a great day yesterday-water, food and exercise. I had to wait until all the chores, mum's taxi, preparation, homework, bathing ect were over but I got to the gym last night for the first time in 10 days.NO EXCUSES. As always I felt WONDERFUL as I walked out of there. So I'm starting to climb out of my hole and am winning against the demons in my head.
Thanks for the replies-you keep climbing up too, Yvette

It's Monday. I made bad choices this weekend for food, but I don't feel too guilty because I'm starting again...Or should I say "continuing" with my healthy life style.
It's MONDAY. Stay with me!
Let's set some goals.
I'm going to work out at least 4-6 times this week. I'm going to eat less than 1800 calories from Monday to Friday night. I'm going to drink water like crazy.
What are yours?

WOW what a difference in the feel and sound of your first message and that last one. Sounds like you have taken a few steps in climbing out of your hole. WELL DONE! JADOMB is right- we all have problems, we would not be living life if we didn't, but when things go wrong each of us has a different time frame on how long we take to start climbing back to the top of the mountain. I am slow- very slow because I have a tendency to wallow in self pity for a while.

Without trying to be nosy it sounds like your troubles are to do with a relationship. I have a little poem I really like - it starts off like this-

Sometimes people come into your life and you know
right away that they were meant to be there, to serve
some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help
you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

If you like it google the first line or
http://www.angel9oh7.com/sometimes.html
and read the rest. I think it is powerful.

What is P90Xing???

What am I going to do? Like you I usually wait for the "beginning " of the week ie my weekly spark weigh in day- Sunday. If I have a day where I go over my calorie range or don't exercise the demons in my head say "you have stuffed it, why bother, keep eating, you are disgusting anyway" My last weeks demons helped me regain 1.7kg. Anyway, yesterday I climbed out of my hole enough to eat well and exercise and it was only Saturday. I also cleaned my house from top to bottom in between the mum's taxi trips. I had an early night and an excellent nights sleep. All is looking well- I am on a streak of ONE day. My plan is to eat well, exercise, iron/clean and sleep well again today. EAT-EXERCISE-SLEEP- REPEAT surely even I can get those 4 steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk to you soon , keep climbing up, Yvette

I am going to shop for groceries for the week today. I will also plan a walk with my kids. Then, tonight I will plan my workout. I am going to do my best to NOT feel guilty that I'm not P90Xing it. I'm going to plan 30 minute workouts at least 4 times next week. That's it, baby!
Did you see the post earlier from JADOMB? It completely changed my thinking.
I had gone on divorce message boards and realized how much of a black hole of depression it was. Why go back to that? Moving forward!
Thank you for your post. What are YOU going to do?????????????????

Hi again. OK, so if Monday is START day -it is nearly Monday. So lets get planning for your start day. What could you do/ do you need to do for Monday to be a great start day? If your headspace is that you like everything to be perfect, now-Saturday- is the time to give yourself the best chance. You don't want to blow it and then have to wait for next Monday! if you know all is ready then you might feel excited and feel a great week is achievable.

I don't mean to sound harsh, just a realist. WE ALL HAVE A STORY. I don't know ANYONE that has a perfect life and has never run into problems. It's just some simmer in their problems and other solve them. DON'T simmer, find things to get you out of the slump and help you NOT get into them again. There are NO promises, but the more you focus on solving problems the better you get at it.

I won't bore you with ALL the down times I've had in my life since they are just memories now that I try to forget. But I will tell you that no matter what, I am NOT struggling. I'm succeeding. I don't accept failure and I pay attention to my eating, exercise and LIFE so that I can quickly make changes when I see a problem coming. Know yourself, and then you can do something. Don't focus on what you don't think you can do or what OTHERS do or stop you from doing, just do it and you will feel so much better. Keep the Faith.

Yes! Let's keep in touch. I know there are good days and bad. Sometimes the bad doesn't last the entire day. It's nice to know there are others out there with the same issues! Thank you. One of my toughest hurdles is NOT being perfect. I won't start a program unless it's Monday, for example. Gotta get out of that mindset!
I'm sorry for your struggles, but thankful you're out there!

You and I are on the same page. I have been unhappy for over a year, know what I need to do but am having trouble mustering the strength. Like you I sabotage myself- did it this week. Had a great two weeks prior and then fell off the wagon and went back into negative head space and undid all the good I had done. Let's keep in touch on this page?

I'm sorry you are struggling. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but sadly I don't (I am struggling today too). Just wanted to let you know I hear you and I think you did the right thing by coming here and posting. Hopefully by typing out your thoughts and feelings will win the battle you are struggling with. Hang in there. Try to go for a walk to clear your head. Try to stay focused on what is important to you, but if you slip up, well then pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Hang in there girl ~ you can do it. HUGS

Every day is a different story. The reality of it is, I just can't get myself to start and stick with it. I am hiding behind a veil of "I feel awesome" and sometimes I am. But often, I feel so unsure about my future.
I am over 40 and am afraid that the best years are passing by or have already gone. The last two years of my life have taught me many lessons. I want to say, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" but I don't feel it yet. It still kills me some of the time.
Many days I feel that self-sabotage rising to it's fullest. I can't wrap my brain around why I do it, but I know many of us are guilty of it.
Having not posted before, I am nervous starting with such a negative vibe. I am struggling through loss and hard times and self sabotage. Hiding isn't doing me much good. I want to get motivated, I really do.
