KSCOWGIRRRL,

Hang in there ! There are better ways to reduce your stress than turning to food. How about taking a walk ? Walking is not only great cardiovascular exercise, it's a great way to reduce stress and relax too. How about a cup of herbal tea ? I also find sitting down with a nice cuppa tea a great way to unwind and de-stress. How about a trip to the gym ? Take a kick boxing class or punch a heavy bag. vigorous exercise is another great way to release steam.

And well, if you need to nibble, grab some fruit. If you're going to overeat, try to overeat something healthy. I have yet to meet a person who could binge eat apples.

I know it's not easy, but you have to try to relax.

Whew! I know what you mean about stressing out. Take a deep breath.....now exhale....
I find myself in that same situation, daily it seems lately. All I can do is take it one day at a time. I'm getting healthy for my family but I'm doing it for me first. Try taking a walk, if you can. Or come on here and vent. Just find something to do when you're stressing out (over anything) that doesn't involve eating. Usually you can take your mind off of food if you're occupied with something else for at least 10 minutes. Need a stress buddy?

I have been doing well, but my husband is really stressing me out and it makes me alternate between being sick to my stomach with stress and then wanting to eat everything in sight. :( I guess I just need to vent. I don't want to gain back what I've already lost.
