Try this:

1 cup water
1 tablespoon corn starch

Stir with a wire whisk until completely blended. Once blended and no more corn starch is visible, turn the heat on high. Keep stirring until mixture turns thick with no interruptions to the stirring. Remove from heat.

Add maple extract and sweetener (amount comparable to 1/4 cup sugar) of choice. I have never worked with Stevia before, but from what I see on the site, a liquid version would probably mix best. Stir in your sweetener. Taste it and if not sweet enough add more sweetener.

I can't use Splenda or Equal...Give me migraines. I use Stevia. Anyone know how to make pancake syrup with it? Or any other recipes with Stevia?
