Of course. I did step at my gym for about 6 months. It's fun, intense, and a bit addictive.

The biggest thing you need is a good pair of no-slip shoes designed for lateral movement. Running shoes are terrible, and I hurt myself several times trying. I got a pair of good cross trainers, and it was great.

I mix in a good step dvd every now and then. They are a great workout.

Does anyone still do step aerobics? Been thinking about trying again.

Rather than aiming for being perfect, just aim to be little bit better today than you were yesterday.
