My favorite appliance is the rice cooker. It cooks rice to perfection, then keeps it warm for hours. It makes rice the simplest thing to cook, but the warming part is really nice.

I like my steamer (it very well could be a Sunbeam).
I just bought my son one from Sears (it was delivered to his location)

I don't always use it for steamed veggies; but I most certainly have used it often for grains and rice.

I no longer have a pressure cooker
I just got a rice cooker, which is also nice - that may free up the steamer for more veggies

It's not stainless steel (the steamer)

I bought a multi-cooker that steamed, browned, pressure-cooked and slow-cooked: www.chefscatalog.com/product/24531-Fagor-e

It was awesome until it broke...I used it almost daily!

I'm really wanting an easy solution for my kitchen. I've always been very bad about cooking at home and thought it would be a good idea for me to have a steamer that I can make a whole meal in. Here are my needs/wants though:

-BPA free
-stainless steel
-I'd like to be able to steam meats and veggies
-cooking rice would be a pro

Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with any?
