Hi Amy and welcome to Spark People. Exercise does not have to be boring. The key is to find something that you enjoy doing like dancing to your favoirte music, shadow boxing, swimming, taking a walk, etc. If it gets your body moving, then it counts, and if you enjoy it, you are more likely to keep doing it. I wish you the best on reaching all of your goals.

My name is Amy and I have just recently recommitted myself to becoming healthier and losing weight. My goal is to lose 20-30 lbs over the next 5-6 months. I do lack motivation when it comes to exercise and I also have some health issues to overcome but I am willing to try. I look forward to talking with other people who have similar goals.
