didnt gain much during the holiday but i gotta get motivated to work out again1

This is a lifestyle change and the changes you make have to fit into your life. If you cannot LIVE your life and are miserable, it is called a DIET. If you accept that sometimes there will be ups as well as downs on the numbers, but keep on truckin' through it all, then it is a HEALTHY attitude and a LIFESTYLE change.

Sounds like you did a great job sticking to your guns even in a difficult/tempting situation! I could only hope to be that strong if I were presented with the same opportunity!

I'd say don't sweat it. You have to have some down time or you are constantly going to be thinking about food or making yourself guilty. Its the holidays which are time for spending with family and friends. Food is one common thing EVERYONE in this world can talk and enjoy.

As long as you didn't go crazy - (and by crazy I mean throw the diet over your shoulder and think 'F it I'm gonna eat a million fried blah blahs cos its the holiday') which you didn't theres no problem!

Chances are its a bit of water weight and you'll soon lose it thinking about all your happy holiday memories :)

Just to share....my family lives overseas so we spent Christmas at a spa in Hungary.
Sounds like a nice way to stay fit...but the food was soooo heavy! I tried to stick with soups, salads and so forth but still ganed a little....so now I am back to our normal routine and sticking to my guns. My GOAL is to lose the target weight before my Birthday in MAY so I have lots of time to get to the goal!
Keep on truckin' I say :o)
