I have the same problem! I actually do better without exercising, because everytime I exercise I come home and binge eat everything! I feel starving and my sweet tooth kicks in and I just eat everything in sight.
Is it that you're hungry or are you binging on certain foods? It might help if you track your dinner and snack ahead of time so you know what you are 'allowed' to eat- you can even pre-pack it for yourself if that helps you. You should have a small snack post-workout unless you're eating your dinner within an hour or so- something like fruit or yogurt- there's a great spark article about what to eat after you work out. I think you need to pinpoint why you're getting off track- hunger? boredom? trigger foods? balance off- ie need more protein? Once you figure that out you can work on a solution!
I have found that for breakfast and lunch, I eat very healthy. However, when I go home after going to the gym, I pig out like crazy. I don't know why I can't maintain the healthy eating. Can you guys help me? Thanks! God bless!
