Hello, I'm 48, a mom of a 12 and 9 yr. old. Live in Auburn, WA. Have a lot of weight to lose to improve my health! I'm starting the process towards sleeve surgery. I'm new to online message boards. I hate food journalling but am going to use this site and the phone app and hope it's easy.
I find the biggest challenge to changing what I eat are my kids - they aren't very receptive to trying the new veggies and foods that i want to eat now. Anyone else out there have that challenge too?
Also a challenge, my knees are shot - I have no more cartilidge in my knees and it's painful at times. It discourages me from excercising. But I'm going to get creative and find ways to move that don't hurt my knees.
