Hi Lisa Ann - there is something very inspirational about someone trying hard to reach goals. You've probably felt this yourself when you see someone on TV reaching goals. In some ways it's more inspirational when real people in our lives are doing this because people thing "hey, that's great - maybe I can reach some of my goals too!"
This is what it means to be a "positive force" on someone and where I came up with the quote "Your daily actions and words impact more people than you realize!"
You are seeing what it's like to be a positive force - great work!
(as a strong side benefit, this will also motivate you to stay on track with your goals!)
There isn't any great need for Spanish here, Cyp. Most of the Spanish-speaking people - mainly from South America - are elderly by now and their childen, and grandchildren, naturally speak English. I just started learning it as a hobby.

Wow, it's so nice to get compliments on reaching my goals. Also nice to inspire people too. Never thought that would happen. Thank you everyone for your support. Go team go!
"THAT'S what I am supposed to be doing: painting."
Such a great, positive statement. It inspires me to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing.

Oh that would be Washington Mutual Bank, I went to school at UC Santa Cruz. I am an administrative assistant at the bank but I am painting more and more. Time to get back to selling my paintings. THAT'S what I am supposed to be doing: painting. The bank is a day job but I have to say it is a good company.
Great Post Lisa. I like your profile too. I'm also glad to see all of your posts and hope to keep seeing more.

Well here I go, a week late in starting but I am starting now. I want to get serious about losing 15 pounds and getting back to my ideal body weight. So here I am. I am painting again thanks to Spark People keeping me accountable. Getting married in November and I am also trying to learn Spanish. That has been going on way to long, trying to learn Spanish but I gave myself some goals and I'm happy to say I am optimistic about reaching all my goals this year. I have never seriously stuck with goal tracking until finding Spark People- guess I like the electronicness of it all. Hello everyone!
