I am committed to 30 minutes per day on the elliptical AT LEAST 5 days per week. So far, so good. Many days I make 40 minutes and many weeks I do 7 days.
Congratulations on the weight loss.

Update: I am seeing the scale move again, will keep my fingers crossed it continues to go down!
Workout minutes are way up from last year, I am hoping to keep that going all year, 250 minutes a week is going to be my goal going forward. It is helping to be leading a Fitness Minutes team that is really awesome, part of the Done Girl challenges.

I am liking the workout more the trainer! She does say to mute her and put on your favorite music, which I do. The workout has the effect needed and that is what I am looking for. What are your favorite trainers?
Doing the stairs this week. I am following a Stairwell Challenge Building climb and this week it si One International Place, Boston MA for a total of 46 flights

GARRIE1, you're right that Denise's voice can get a little trying. But in an interview some years ago, she said that she really does make her workouts for ONE PERSON: You. She said she just thinks about that one person she is helping, who really doesn't have money for a personal trainer, or even probably for a gym membership, or who is to overweight to want to go to a gym, and so she tries to motivate that person. I thought that was a genuine answer on her part.

When I first watched Denise Austin, I wasn't thoroughly impressed. Her routines are great, but something about her voice and vivaciousness got under my skin a little bit. Probably had something to do with the fact that I'm about 80 lbs. heavier than her (some call it jealousy). emoticon I've come to have a great deal of respect for her, however, and you just cannot argue with the fact that she is in tip top, beautiful shape. Very motivating, since Denise and I are about the same age!

I had never heard of Tracy Andersen before. I read she is 5 ft. tall and 96#. Denise Austin is 5'4" and 112#. Denise is 56 now & the mother of two grown daughters.
