Yep, being 6ft tall lets you carry more weight than most people. That is how I got where I was. I tend to put it on all over so it was hard to notice when I began to really get out of hand.
I met the women today, and they are a lot of fun. This is going to be so much easier meeting with them twice a week. I am so looking forward to being thin and healthy again! emoticon

The Penn State Strong Women Program is a good move. It makes all the difference when you are with people who are going through the same thing and are like minded. Lucky you!
6 ft tall! I am SO jealous! I always tell my husband I am just a little too short for my weight. If I were 6 ft tall i'd have the perfect body, LOL!

Well, got sidetracked again. Family, school, work and whatever else gets thrown at me. So now I am really determined to stick with this weight loss. Have a long way to go. I read the older posts and I apologize for not coming in here and thank you all for your prayers. God bless you and I hope that you are at or near where you wish to be.

Committing to this daily journal is a huge thing. I am 6ft tall and weigh 269 pounds, and my BMI is around 36.8.
Joining a workout group through Penn State Strong Women Program near my home tomorrow. I am excited to get involved with a group of women with the same mindset as my own. So off we go to a healtier, thinner me!
