Hi and congratulations on taking that first big step! The best advice I can give you is to really check out this website. There is so much info and so many people willing to help. If you have trouble deciding what to eat, try using their food tracker and let the website decide what you're going to eat. The meals are healthy so it will put you in the right direction.

Good luck to you!

Hello--Never have done this before. Going on a message board and asking for help to get my weight under control. I am 53 years old and have been heavy all of my life. But know I want to get my life and weight under control. Need some guidance and thought this might be the best way. In the past year I got a new lease on life with 2 brand new knees. I feel like a new person and have more energy. I am working out 2 days a week on weights and 2 days walking on the treadmill. However, I still cannot control my urges to eat the wrong food. So I decided that this was the best way to get some support. Help! Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
