I can speak only for myself, but I'm six months in and have yet to step on a scale even once! Not before starting, not now! It may be wrong, but I'm sticking with my program, judging my how my clothes fit (the size I started in are all at the Salvation Army donation center!!), and not giving a number the chance to discourage me. It's definitely not for everyone, but I have to say it's working for me! You are doing great so I really suggest doing what you feel will work best for you!

maybe think of some non scale victories if the numbers on the scale aren't what you hoped for.
The scale is only one type of measurement. If you're eating right, tracking your food intake, exercising, etc.. you'll feel great & you'll notice your clothes fitting looser too. So, the scale is only a number.. step on it week 3 or week 4 or both. Whatever you choose is right for you! You can do it!

I have been doing great! WOO HOO! Week 3 of calorie counting starts tomorrow. I am scared to step on the scale. Scared that if the number isn't big enough that it might stop all together. I think that I will wait for the end of week 4 before I step on the scale.
