its always hard until you get your head in the game - think of it as all you want and then prioritise your weight loss then it will work or you will lapse again

I started anew 3 weeks ago. Last year at this time I had lost 40 pounds with Sparks and then just went back to old habbits and stopped keeping track of food. Got on the scale 3 weeks ago and had gained back 20 pounds. At least I didn't gain all 40 back. I have lost 10 pounds in the last 3 weeks. I can loose but the hardest is keeping it off and not going back to old habbits. I am determined to make this a life change and not a diet. Congratulations on starting fresh today!

I'm not new either but this time I'm taking my time and setting realistic goals. I'm understanding that setbacks happen and there will be bad days but once the day is over. Tomorrow is a new fresh opportunity to start over and do it right. So welcome back. emoticon

I am not new to SparksPeople but I have never taken weight loss seriously either. I am trying anew, fresh, today!. I need to lose 78 pounds and I figured with the Biggest Loser challenge starting at work tomorrow, it would be a good time to do that. I have started tracking my weight on here and my food intake and boy, my boss brought in bagels this morning. Oh well, I've hit the ground running and intend to make full use of this site this time and become a whole new me. I'm tired of feeling tired and the health problems that run in my family...I do not want them. I am up for any ideas, tips, and suggestions that anyone offers. Thanks and can't wait to work with each and every one of you.
