Well I continue to track my food. And i'm doing alright with posting to this message board at least, but I can't seem to do stretching. I am sore and I know it will help but somewhere I lost my momentum. I am just having a really hard time with this not having a job thing. I am exhausted all the time. off to bed i go,having spent another day not stretching.

Hi Jessica! No you don't need to start over unless you want to. remember this is a process, and sometimes busy lives get us off track a little. The good news is you got back ON track and I am so proud of you for that!!
Keep going, I found it helpful to keep a small pad of paper with a pencil tucked in and jotted down my food in it, then entered it in when i could.
You truly are doing well!!

Saturday was a bad day for my goals. I did get up and stretch but I was on set all day, and snacked, and did not keep track of my food. I need a smart phone, and there needs to be a nutrition track app on the smart phones so when days like Saturday happen, I can keep track along the way. Needles to say none of my nutrition for the day was tracked. And by the time I got home, I was so exhausted from having been on set for 13 hours that I didn't even wash the makeup off my face, I just crashed. So I never turned on my computer to post on the message boards. And yesterday, I was so tired from the whole week and the shoot was canceled, so all I did was watch tv. I never stretched or turned on my computer, my tracking I did today. Do I start all over? Or just work on it from here and move forward. Well so far today, I've tracked my breakfast. I have an interview at 2 that I am going to go get ready for now. I will stretch tonight for sure because my back is hurting and my fabulous website that I found with great stretch exercise has good back ones. I'll be back on today to track the rest of my food for today as well.

My day sucked. And so did my food intake. And I'm exhausted. I have yet to get one 8 hour night of sleep this week. I am so done, and I have a long weekend. Plus the jobs that looked promising sent me "unfortunately" emails today. I'm feeling defeated and tired. I am skipping my stretching because I have to get to sleep, and I can't even hold my head up another minute. But I tracked all my food and I posted and for the sake of my physical well being I am giving myself a break and getting some sleep.

Thank you for all of your continued support and encouragement.

Tonight I am super tired. This morning I did not have time in my crazy day to stretch, so I put it off. All I wanted to do was come home and go to bed but I made a promise to myself to do these 3 simple things everyday. I found this great stretch website: http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/cyberthe
rapist/stretching/allstretches.php

and just the back exercises come out to 10 minutes. My back has been stiff, since the last few days I've been focusing on other muscle groups. As tired as I still am I am grateful to have forced myself to stretch, because my back is feeling much looser.

And much to my surprise and definitely with no conscience effort I stayed within goal in 3 of the 4 food areas and while my calories were a little too high, they were so much lower than they have been. It kind of felt good. I made a commitment to myself to just track and not go crazy trying to stay within the numbers yet. I just want to see over the next two weeks what needs work before I start working on it.

Plus I am so glad I choose posting to the messages boards as one of my fast breaks because I can report in that I have completed my fast breaks for the day. It keeps me kind of accountable to a world I don't think really cares that much about me reaching my daily goals.

That's all. I have to be up early again tomorrow and all weekend. One of these night I will actually get 8 hours of sleep. Just not tonight.

Goals met, body feeling all open and stretched, emotional well being high!

Now, if I could just get a job....

I've done it again. Although it is technically tomorrow before I wrote on the message boards it is the end of my day. I stretched 10 minutes, and tracked all my foods and now I am posting to the board. And good night. Thank you NightSky for your encouragement.

I like the fast break as well. For now I'm just going to take the baby steps that need to be taken and let it be okay. Although my head keeps telling me I should be doing more I remind it that I am doing the things that I will be able to consistently maintain over the long term and not give up. Of course its only been one day and I already want to give up, but I am focused on that I only have to do it for one day for right now.

Sounds like a great start! I love this fast brk stuff, I usually quit any new programs because I reach too far I think. With these goals they are so few and hopefully will really help to ingrain new habits in myself.
