When I log on to Spark it brings up my Start page but honestly I'm there just a couple seconds or so before clicking onto something else; I rarely pay any attention at all to the Tracker info or pounds lost on my Start page.
I can remember being really disgusted with the Fitness Tracker though; it would say "You have cardio scheduled for today !" and I hated to exercise and that exclamation point, like this is something exciting or whatever-- really turned me off. But I quickly learned to just ignore it and now I don't notice if it says anything or not. I know what my plan is (which days are cardio, strength etc) and just do it.

I only go to my Start Page once in a blue moon. I log in using other means - mainly either clicking on a post that has come through or clicking on the Nutrition Tracker link on one of the posts.
I am sure that if you continue to log in using the start page, and if you utilize the site well (nutrition tracker and information to achieve your goals) then you will soon be very pleased to see SOME kg lost. Everybody has to start somewhere and we were ALL at the start line at one stage.!

I think you need to think about adjusting your frame of mind a little bit - if you know you're doing the right things and seeing results that you personally are happy with, why would a factual statement (which is what the information on the Start page is) impact that? Spark's not judging you, it's just reporting the information you provide to it. I think with weight, sometimes, it can be easy to feel like the whole world is judging us, but that's not really the case - it's just our own negative self-perceptions getting in the way. Be proud of what you HAVE accomplished, instead of dwelling on the negatives.

I just logged on to sparkpeople and my start page told me Zero kilograms lost yet! and it did not make me feel good. Everyone starts with weight loss goal in the beginning but there are some who are not fortunate to get results in kgs and this website very much advocates looking at other parameters of success other than kgs it could be inches, body fat percentage. yes there are measurements tracking available but I do not get greeted by 2.5 inches lost !!!!
May be I am just agitated being reminded for losing zero kilograms !
