good 4 is a life style change. welcome to the real world. Fad diets don't cut it and never will. Sparks help me drop some serious weight. it also helped me find a love for lifting weights and now I am building muscles. Good luck on your journey. Use all that sparks has to offer and you will do just fine.

I recently started reading The Spark book. I bought The Book thinking it was a quick solution to weight loss. Since it hints to it's 28 day program on the cover, I thought I'd be only in this for a month. Well, I've only read 19 pages so far and it's clear that Spark People is a life changing program! The difference between SP and other diets(usually fad ones) that I have tried is that all the other diets focus on ONLY eating healthy/exercising. SP focuses on improving all areas of life. And you know what...this is exactly what I've been needing for a while. I've been needing a change in other areas of my life. Not just my eating habits. I'm excited to continue reading the book and most of all, logging onto SP to learn new ways of living. Thanks SP! Finally, a program that "gets it" emoticon
