since he is a boy, put some cheerios in the toilet and tell him to hit them in the middle. My son was already potty trained when a friend told us this, so we didn't have to do it, but he said it worked with their son.

I used a three day method to kick off our potty training with my then 30-month old son. This is the article I used.

Hey all you spark moms! I have a 18 month old and he is showing interest in potty training. He asks to go when when I change his diaper. He has gone 5 times total within the last 2 weeks. those 5 times were over a 4 day span. After that, he stopped actually going on the potty. But he is still showing interest. I will put him on the chair, let him sit there as long as he wants, then take him off and back on the diaper goes. Do any of you mothers have tips? My first son potty trained in one month at the age of 18 months, but that was 5 years ago so, I'm a little scratchy on the subject!
