I for one love to read magazines it would be wonderful to see a SPARK emoticon at the checkout lane.

I think it seems like a good idea, but the fact is, the print media is dead.

Love the magazine idea! I also agree 100% - absolutely "no" celebs. There are sooo many people here on SP that have awesome stories to tell that would inspire others.

I agree! And subscribers could nominate Soarkfriends who inspire them for future features!

Mylehia, I love your idea about putting SparkPeople in the magazine and not the celebs. To me that would be the added bonus content that would spark more interest. Great idea!

I would totally subscribe! Its the least i could do for all they have done for me. That and it would be totally cool to get as a monthly magazine. Please no Celeb's tho. They are not real all fake. LOL. I know there are some out there that are great about keeping the weight off naturally and I support that. I use to subscribe to Health Mag before they started putting Celebs on it.

I think it would be cool to have a section dedicate to real people. There are more then enough peeps on here that are interesting. Each one has a whoo hoo moment.

I am totally rambling. Sorry! but it woulld be great!

Thank you! I do tell people about it and believe in it 100%. Even asked my doctors assistant to tell him about it but will make sure I take reports printed and tell him personally about it the next visit. Anyway, time for the gym today and to get my day on the move! Have a great weekend and keep Sparking!!

And I understand that. I bought the book Spark for my phone and read it but felt like I could get much more from it if I had the book so bought it too. Now I have it with me everywhere I go and carry it just about every where I go.

I'd sooner subcribe to the magazine than the online program that's like WW. Different things work for different people and I would love the magazine!

Cost would be something to look at. There is several ways that the magazine could be marketed by SP. I work for a company that has a magazine as part of membership and you can elect a membership with or without a magazine and the option with the magazine does cost more. We also have people who buy the magazine from us but to buy from a distributor the cost is less, not sure how much since I just know what the distributors pay us for the magazines but it is at a discounted rate. But I also know that the magazine could be costly as it costs money to produce. Good question!

I wonder how much a subscription would cost.

I also like the idea so that if I am some place where I dont have a computer like the gym or doctor office I can have that to keep me going AND to help me show other people just what SparkPeople is.

I think it would be neat if Spark created a monthly magazine that we could subscribe to that arrive in the mail in print format. It could focus on exercise and nutrition tips related to that month (like how to handle exercising in the heat during the summer and what veggies are currently in season in various regions).

I know a lot of this information is covered online but I spend most of my day on the computer and would enjoy a printed alternative....especially if it included articles that were a bonus to magazine readers and were not available online.
