Wouldn't most diet scales convert grams into ounces?

Don't feel bad! There is no such thing as a stupid question, you are learning and that is a good thing!

1 cup = 8 fluid ounces

You cant do a standard measure... think.... a cup of a heavy food like rice will weight more than a cup of marshmallows.

This link helps, or you can get US measureing cups outside the US, Im in the UK and got a set pretty easily.

Hi Guys,

As a new member trying to use the recipes I'm having a problem with the measures. Can anyone tell me how many ounces or grams are in a "cup" ?

Thanks
