For me, I do my normal 2-3 hours of exercise even when sore from a change-up in activity. I think it helps.

lots of stretching and get back into a different workout just to get the muscles working again

I usually also do a light workout if I'm sore. It has helped me SO much with then being less sore the day after.

To help with that in the future I found that some good stretching after a workout helps from getting too sore.

I always still work out, it usually helps stretch out my soreness. Alleviates it a little. However, I do something lighter or more "fun".

I agree with Coach Jen, Usually after a hard workout I try to do something the next day, an easy walk or bike would probably help. Just pay attention to your body there is a vast difference between soreness and pain. Just don't hurt yourself.

Never discourage anyone who makes continual progress, no matter how slow.

Usually light activity is a good idea if possible, because it keeps you from getting more stiff and sore. So if it's an easy bike ride and you feel up to it, I'd go for it.

I did cross fit yesterday and my legs are so sore. I would like to go to the gym and ride the bike. Will it add to my soreness or will it help work it out?
