I always feel WAY better when I exercise my way through a cold...it's what keeps colds from taking root & I get better 10 times faster.

I did 30 minutes on my treadmill today with a herniated disk--just because it's better to exercise while hurting than not exercise.....and yep, my activities were doctor-approved!

It's chilly here in Indiana today. I have some kind of cold/sinus infection coming up, so I've decided to take the day off also.

I got my sore throat as the heat wave left. so. california. Full blown cold now. At least I do not have an appetite.

The heat wave is back. Most days there's not even a relief of a breeze. My throat hurts now. I think it's because of the weather. I know from experience that if I push myself and do an exercise DVD in these situations, I'll have a full-blown flu on my hands.

So, I've decided to take a break from exercise till my throat feels normal or ok. I will take walks if it's not too hot and there's a nice breeze, otherwise, I'll just stay indoors and read. Maybe do a little Pilates when my shoulder stops hurting (I must have pulled something there! :( )
