Oh, are those ever interesting. They kinda look like an overgrown pair of of pedicure foams. I may have to look into them a little more. Thanks for the heads up. :)

I agree about the shoes. The only exercise I do without shoes is Pilates.

The few times I did one of my Firm workout DVDs at home without shoes, my feet would ache.

I also use toe stretchers. Mine were inexpensive - they look kind of like these

when I first got them, I couldn't wear them more than 5 minutes or so. Now I often fall asleep wearing them. They really make my achy feet feel so much better.

I also love peppermint foot cream! AHHHHHHH

In some ways I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, but I'm sorry others are also experiencing pain. I will look further into this now that I know there are others, and will look into finding an appropriate shoe for use on the balance board.

Thanks! :)

I would suggest wearing some sort of shoe which gives your arches support. You don't want to injure yourself more...I looked it up and it sounds like several people have had this issue with the wii board.

I never used to with the original Wii Fit or the Wii Fit Plus, so didn't now that I've started using the Wii Fit U. I never had any trouble before, but it has been a while. I suppose my arches could have weakened. Do you think it's okay to wear light footwear on the balance board?

I'm not using the wii fit u, but...do you wear shoes when you work out using that routine? If you have weak arches or otherwise need foot support, that could be the issue.

I know when I was using the old wii fit, I would not wear shoes because you weren't supposed to with the balance board. I have pretty strong feet, but my husband has weak arches and needs to wear shoes when he works out.

So I was doing a half hour workout today (set my goals in Wii Fit U and it spits out a routine based on those) and found my feet were hurting. The rest of me felt good, well worked over, but good... however the arches of my feet experienced a fair bit of pain. Even now, almost an hour later, my feet are still throbbing. Thoughts? I'm really not sure what's up.
