With the soups, try bulk cooking and then containerizing them in single serves. I do this all the time and it really works well. Of course, to be even more accurate, you might find that pureeing the soups down you get the same amount of everything each time, and it is actually more filling (it's been proven scientifically AND by me :-)
As far as the frozen mixed fruits and veges are concerned, They would average it out. It wouldn't make more than a few calories difference at the most.

I have considered that many times - mostly with soups. I don't think the calories for berries would vary as much as soup might. For example, I sometimes get half cup of broth... sometimes none... the calories are just weird sometimes. Because of this I have started making smaller pots and just making sure that I eat all of it that day so that I don't have to worry about it as much.
But I agree. The calories count can be... illogical

It could just be me, but I think it's funny when you get say, a mixed bag of fresh salad, and then there are specific calories by the cup. Or if you buy a frozen bag of mixed fruit or vegetables. Obviously depending on what is in that cup each time the calories vary. Right?
