Pretty good, considering. Maintained throughout the year until we moved forward with IVF -- then I "gained" 10 pounds that disappeared after the injections, but came back shortly after the positive pregnancy test. Unfortunately, the pregnancy was ectopic, so I didn't stay pregnant, but so far my body hasn't let go of the water yet. (Still have pregnancy hormone in my blood -- so hoping it will pass once all that is out of my system. Pretty pleased that my eating stayed pretty much on track regardless, and that I've managed to get myself back on a "reducing" plan to get rid of any extra pounds that AREN'T actually just water. And finally got cleared to run again, so re-started my running program last weekend -- legs are sore, but so glad to be back at it!

My 2012 was great. I lost 17 lb and also got married. I am looking forward to 2013 because I will be starting my life with my husband soon

This has been my worse year so far. Lacked motivation, regained 6 lbs. and am currently working on getting my motivation and drive back. Still hanging in there though.
I still keep maintaining my weight. Body fat for off season is still 15%. See more curves on my body. I was a pear and 2009 changed to be hour glass (with training) and now a better hour glass and a better abs.
I still pay attention with my weakness : mindless eating at night.
I was a little touch and go for awhile in 2012. I had to re-remember what I had always known and make adjustments for changes in lifestyle. I don't know the number on the scale anymore but I know that I'm getting closer to feeling better about myself consistently so I'm feeling happy with that.

This year (in May) I reached my weight loss goal, but it's not the end of the road for me...working on decreasing my body fat % and eating a clean diet!

I did fairly well. The first 6 months were excellent and I lost a lot of weight. But I got kind of burned out and have struggled the last few months. I'm still down but I have gained back 10 lbs of the weight I lost earlier in the year.
Right now I'm being very strict with myself and trying to stay on the low end of my range to see if I can get back to losing weight again.
I've gone from being obese to being overweight, and heading towards a healthy weight. Making better food choices too. Added salmon to my previously fishfree diet. Gone from a slow painfilled one mile walk to a not quite painfree 8 mile walk.
For 2013 I hope to achieve my goal weight and do active vacations with Hubby.
I've lost 23 lbs and gone from a size 12 to a size 4. Great year for my health, and self confidence.

I lost 25 pounds, gained back 5 and am on track to have lost them again by my next weigh in. I have continued to add healthy habits to my lifestyle. I've expanded my home gym and this year I tried Zumba classes. I'm really proud of how I did in 2012!
For me, it's not about how much weight I lose in some arbitrary time period, it's all about making permanent changes that I can live with that will further my goals to be a healthy adult.
For the most part, I maintained my weight this year. I had lost about 70 pounds last year, and I guess towards the end of it, I got burnt out. I did have that moment around October (after I had weighed in at 269 pounds) where I said to myself "It's only going to get harder if I wait longer" so I started working out more and writing down all of my food.
Could I have reached my goal weight this year? yes. Did I? no.
I did however prove that come the day I reach my goal weight, I'll be able to maintain my weight and that does let me know that I'm read to tackle the rest of this extra weight.
I lost 10 pounds this year, which was my goal. It doesn't sound like much, but I went for several years without losing any weight. I was on a very long plateau, just gaining and losing the same few pounds.
This is the year that I got serious about calorie tracking and watching my portion sizes better and eating "cleaner" foods. I have always exercised, but this year I also pushed myself a bit more and changed up my exercise routine.

I think I've lost about 60 lbs. throughout the course of the year. Can't complain about that!
The good thing about the new year being around the corner is that it can help motivate a lot of us to do better and set new goals for ourselves... keeping those goals is more of a challenge, but it can definitely be done!
I mean with regards to your weight loss and other goals. Me, not so well. I'm about 4 pounds heavier than I was at the beginning of the year. The problem is that I eat too much during the weekend, and my workouts aren't consistent enough. On the plus side, I'm definitely fitter than I was in January. Too bad I don't have a leaner physique to show for it. Ah well, that's what good resolutions are for, right ? ! I'm looking forward to a fresh start. My youngest is starting school next year, so hopefully it will be easier to squeeze in some exercise.
