Thanks for the support! Yeah...after the disappointing measurements I sure double-checked that tape... but I did add soy sauce to a stirfry that i cooked in the beginning of the week and have been eating all week..and my body probably isn't used to so much sodium. i didn't even think about that...probably should of.. this is a great community to turn to when you get frustrated and forget the simple things..

are you absolutely positive that you measured in the exact same location? thats my problem or the tape "droops in the back or.....

Is it possible that your salt intake is a little too high and you are retaining water? That's where I tend to gain the most water weight during my normal monthly fluctuation....right there in the hips-and it is sooooo aggravating!
Wish I had some kind of and idea what's happening...but I would give it a bit more time.

So.. I haven't weighed in on SP recently, but I've lost a few more pounds. My diet is generally healthy, organic, cook from whole foods w/the exception of some organic whole wheat pastas, breads, etc occasionally...The past two months I've especially tracked my eating to make sure I was getting a healthy number of calories for my goals, and exercised (nearly!) every day alternating different types of cardio, working in strength, etc...you get the jist, doin' all the good stuff our friends at SP recommend..
I've also been measuring myself every 2 weeks. I've been feeling frustrated looking at my body, like my hips are getting bigger. I figured it was in my head, probably losing inches from my belly making it look bigger.
Nope, actually got larger past 2 weeks by almost .75 an inch! I get that you may not lose inches right away, any idea why I could be gaining them though???
Just fyi - I have been drinking lots of water, I haven't been eating too few calories, I haven't been eating unhealthy fats.. I have no idea why this is happening.
