I am so happy for you! And I'm glad you posted. I have been holding at 41 lbs and starting to drift on discipline. You've given me a good nudge in the right direction to get back on the horse. Thanks and good luck!

job! I too was thinking about that the other day as I was carrying 2 large jugs of bottled water. It was no small feat, yet I knew people who carry around that much extra weight all of the time. It's sad that many people cannot lift just one of those 5 gallon jugs and put them on the cooler, yet they think nothing of carrying the 35 pounds (5 gal = 35 pt = 35 lbs) of fat around their waist.

Congratulations!!! I have lost 34lbs since I first started my weight loss challenge back in September. I have 35 more to go and I feel as though Im at a plateau - what did you do to get past any plateau times?

Congratulations! Nice job!

I'm not a regular to the message boards, but I weighed in this week and am so happy I have to share. I have crossed the 45lbs-lost line this week and I can't believe it! And it was so much easier than I ever thought it would be. Just tracking my calorie intake every day has taught me so much....and made me realize how much I was eating before.
So, I started thinking....how much is 45lbs? - About one large bag of dog food - About 5 gallons of milk - An average 6 year old
I can't believe that I was carrying around the weight of these items with me every day! It also makes me realize how much more I need to loose.
So, I'll keep going to reach my "1st" goal...only 33 lbs more to go! Then I need to set my next goal.
