If I had to pick one, I'd say probably C. Although I'm not sure that'd be my exact response. It might be something more like "OK, let's give this a try and see how you did".

To the 300 dollars saved vs. 1200 spent, my answer to that nonsense is "I saved 100% by staying out of the store".

Another acceptable answer is, "I doubled my money today, here is how, I took it out of my pocket, folded it and put it back in my pocket".

Note: these answers do not necessarily curry favor in the bedroom.
