I just wanted to share this because oddly the topic I'm reading about today talks about calories sneaking their way into our drinks. My girls (daughters) love Jamba Juice, but I rarely let them have any one. I love those fruit smoothies myself. I decided to make home-made ones that taste terrific and are very filling. I mix one Light and Fit yogurt (berry flavored), 8 oz of Silk Pure Almond Unsweetened Vanilla, a cup of frozen berries and blend. It is only 180 calories compared to the 290 cals you'll have in a Jamba Juice. So if you're a smoothie lover as we are, give this one a try. You'll get some fruit (and know how much is really going in), some added calcium and vit D. Yummy!
