GLINDAGOODWITCH, your blog is perfect. Boy, does it speak to me. I was a spectator here for three years before the Spark got me. And it got me good! A daily email in April 2011 grabbed me and wouldn't let go. I committed to a Spring into Shape Bootcamp Challenge on May 1, 2011, and never looked back. Have been at goal (128) since February 2012. I owe it all to Sparkpeople for getting through to me with soft, kind, persistent, unrelenting zeal.

This is my blog entry for the day....

Live today with joy in your hearts. Be grateful for what you have. Simply being here on Sparks is a blessing. So many healthy and positive things to do here. Come on in and leave your burdens at the door. When you are here click away. So many wonderful things here. Even if it's just for a few minutes you will definitely benefit from it. Don't worry about your eating and exercising if you are struggling. Maybe it just isn't time for that. It's not all about that. There are tons of things that you can do here that are positive. You have to remember that you are used to doing things a certain way for a very long time. Give yourself time. It's okay. There really isn't any pressure. We can be our own worst enemies. Cut yourself some slack. It's all about learning positive things in many, many different ways.....

Here's some things you can do that are wonderfully positive...

Log your water for the day.

Eat at least one fruit or vegetable.

Start writing in a journal.

Read an article.

Simple things that will have a huge impact on your life....

Most of all be good to yourself. If you are like me you have been beating yourself up for years and years for not succeeding.

Not worth the energy. There are too many things going on in our world today that are negative.
