I haven't looked into that particular product, but if it's anything like the rest of the Slimfast line, it's got a lot of additives and is highly processed.
Instead, I would suggest a couple of things: look at your intake earlier in the day. Are you setting yourself up to want/need to eat at night because you're undereating or making poor choices during the day? I'm finding more and more that my lunch choices have a huge effect on how my evening goes food-wise.
If you are eating well for breakfast and lunch and still feel the need for a snack, how about a handful of nuts, greek yogurt, or some carrots or other veggie? All of these will help you feel full and have some nutritional value to them.
Are you drinking enough water during the day? I find that if I'm circling the fridge, sometimes a big glass of water will distract me enough to quiet the "eat it" chatter in my head.
