I just bought a new one last year, it requires a surprising amount of effort to keep it going. In the winter I use it for fun and to get my heart rate up.

I used to love this toy so much! It was hilarious! Except I would always get going too fast and end up flinging it off my foot or hitting my ankle haha, anyone else do something like that.

Is that the thing you put around your ankle and "jump rope"? I want a pogo stick to exercise with but I'm afraid I'd kill myself trying to use it :)

I remember getting one of these at a yard sale when I was maybe in 6th grade. It was pink and fun! And the step counter on it didn't work but I didn't care. I don't know what happened to it but I have thought about getting a new one...think they are at Walmart?
Oh and what about the things that look like Saturn, a ball with a circle board around it that you balance and jump? Bet that would make a good core workout...

I remember back in the 80's that I had those Hit Styxx...you ran around beating them in the air like you were a drummer and they beat out the sound of being on a drum set from this stereo box strapped to your waist. You worked up a sweat just PRETENDING to be the next Tommy Lee LOL. Plus they had this workout gear back then from the 80's workout craze for teens called Get In Shape Girl....I was obsessed with it!

I remember those toys. I had a "Lemon Twist" as a kid. What a great idea. I would think it would track like a jump rope in terms of tracking the activity.

Does anyone here use Skip-its as a form of exercise? I used to have one as a kid
