My tightest pair of jeans is getting looser around me and I'm not pouring into them and having trouble buttoning them like before..

...that being said, I've noticed myself getting lazy and slacking off, so I read about positive and negative motivation strategies and have tweaked one for me. I went to goodwill and bought two soup mugs. One is purple and says "Attitude is Everything" on it, and one is black. For each day that I give my goals my all, I will put an almond in the attitude mug. For each day that I'm just lazily "going through the motions" or "resting on my laurels" I will take an almond out of the Attitude mug and put it in the black mug. At the end of the month, I will add up the almonds (1 almond = $1) and that money is either pin money (if it is in the Attitude mug) or donated to charity (if it is the black mug, and I know it is supposed to be a charity you don't like, but I'm not sending money to any cause I don't like just because I had a bad day, even if it is only a few dollars here and there) I pick the Salvation Army and to save the black mug money until Christmas to put in a red kettle.
