I agree with Nancy on this one.. I also lift heavy and hold the 48 hour rest rule also when I return I am not doing the same exercises in a full body workout.. I do a 3 day split, so in short doesn't matter if I am stiff I am not re-banging the same over tired muscles..
I also do a 3 days splint to concentrate on my weaknesses and it has helped avoid returning to the chiropactor with my back..
What makes strength training work is returning long haul over many years not the frequency a week.. max 3 times also avoids repetition injuries on shoulders, elbows, hips and knees..
I simply refuse to live my life in the gym 5-6 days.. Not necessary.. i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh54/Rena1965/
I do have genes to bulk up as a women, I hate to think how I would look going to the gym 5-6 days a week..
I don't like living at the gym, and I opted for a more physical job so cardio in the gym is not necessary- actually like getting paid to keep fit.. i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh54/Rena1965/
