Tried tofu ones tonight, not much different than the other but has a slightly different texture.I plan on sticking with the others just because 0 carb.I have eaten almost nothing today cuz of unplanned running around and I am sitting here with half a bowl of the noodles and just can't eat anymore! LOVE this! LOL! I will save them for later in the night.

Hi! House Foods Tofu Shiratake Noodle Substitute-they were stocked in the refrigertated tofu section at a Meier's Store. Also, the Hungry Girl website should have info on them. She really loves the product! She has different recipes in her books, and in her website also. Thanks for the info! emoticon

Hi Patti,

What brand did you try? I am going tommorrow to load up on more,I hope they have them because of the tragedy in Japan,I can't call the store because I have no clue of the name and they don't speak english there. I bought the miracle noodle brand tonight, when you look at the ingrediants and nutrition they don't seem to be the same item but looking on the internet makes me think it is. Another weightloss sight I belong to(paid!) they have a recipe for making them yourself so might try that down the road.

They are really good mixed with low fat cheese and canned mushrooms and maybe some green onion. Yum! emoticon emoticon

I am new here so I apologize if this is repeat

I just wanted to tell anyone who is afraid to try these not to be! I was! I bought them about 6months ago and decided to take the plunge! I bought jfc brand from an asian grocery store.Soaked in hot water for about an hr,added them to chicken broth with pureed chicken and frozen spinach. There is no taste, the texture is fine kinda reminds me of ramen noodles but a littles thicker.
