Once a year, I go to the doctor for health check reasons and my motivation is making sure I lose 10 lbs each visit.

I'm actually a nutritionist for a living and I was obese. That was my original motivation. I didn't feel I could give advice without feeling like a hypocrite. Now my motivation is really the races that I sign up for. I want to be fit/healthy enough to complete them. My first marathon is in April and that's kicking my butt into overdrive right now lol.

The race to fitness is unending for when you reach your goals, it becomes a race to stay ahead of the temptations that seek to pull back to where you came from!
