I read this really great column in Runner's World a couple of weeks ago but I can't find the link. The gist of it was that you will always feel better after exercise than you would if you didn't exercise at all. The first 5 minutes are always the hardest and after that its cake.

I have been struggling with motivation for the last week. I start off well in the mornings and I am fine till about lunch time, then everything goes haywire. Been trying to figure out what keeps me motivated in the morning, so that I can continue with it in the afternoon-evening-night

Where do you have your eliptical? I put mine in my living room , next to the coach, and in front of the tv. That way when I I am watching tv with the kids, I have no reason at all not to watch while burning cals.
Great job staying on track with cals in, for me that's the hard part.

get a fitbit!! i just got one and its really helping me stay strong!! it tracks ur calories burned throughout your whole day.. tracks how many stairs/hills you do.. tracks how many steps and you can sink it on to your SP!! I always try to beat the day before!!

Getting myself out of the house and going for a walk can be a challenge for me. What helps, for me, is downloading an audible book onto my ipod. I have to listen to it before it disappears off my device and the only time I listen is when I'm walking.

Hello Lavenerfit,

At least 80% of weight loss has to do with nutrition so emoticon that you are sticking to your food program.

Sometimes when I am not feeling like cardio I set a timer for 10 minutes and usually once I do that 10 minutes I am seduced into doing more...but if not at least 10 minutes is better than none. To avoid the sneering machine maybe you could take a walk outside ... emoticon

To exercise today. Channeling my inner sloth but sticking to food program. The elliptical machine is sneering at me.
