I found a body powder at Meijer called Monkey Butt. Bought it because it had a funny name and anything with such a funny name has to work! Seems to work just fine. I wonder how well it'll work now that the weather is starting to hit in the mid 80's???

I have this problem and I bought some tight-fitting compression shorts to wear under my normal workout clothes. They don't "ride up" and they keep my skin-rubbing-on-skin thing from happening.

You're perfectly normal. This happens to a lot of runners. One thing you might consider is investing in a tube of Body Glide. Many runners use it to prevent chaffing. You can find it at CVS or any good sports store.

I don't know a single person, fat or thin, whose thighs DON'T chafe while running.
Hopefully that makes you feel better. Bodyglide is your friend.

maybe they're getting smaller, and the looser fit is causing chafing... maybe it's the change in the weather...
