What a difference Spring makes! Have pulled out of the winter doldrums and am enjoying the Spring sunshine!
Clean eating last 2 weeks, tracking everything and staying in range, sticking to my fitness schedule - and observing changes in the positive direction. Glad to be back in the groove!

Well Sparkfriends, I'm still here and still going through the trial and error process to find what is going to work best for me along this journey. I know diligent tracking is a must. I also need to reconcile various demands in life. A project at work will have things pretty hectic for the next 6 months or so, and I need to incorporate my health and fitness objectives right in with my professional ones so they don't get pushed to the side as has happened so many times before. I need to link them mentally so that meeting one while missing the other is still a miss overall...
Obstacles and how managed? Feeling tired and very run down. Got home from work and went straight to bed for 4 hours. Had eaten well throughout the day, but did not make the best dinner choices. Will try for the reset tomorrow...
Obstacles and how managed? Lots of errands and running around out and about. Also annual fire district awards dinner at night. Had a slice of veggie pizza for lunch and small reasonable dinner choices with no dessert - stayed in range. Energy during my workout was somewhat low.
Obstacles and how managed? Great Friday! Had a moment of temptation to run to the vending machine when some work stress hit, but I pushed past it. And my run felt great so I did an extra mile. I will bump up the speed on my next run.
Obstacles and how managed? Well, the day didn't go quite as planned. First, I was HUNGRY! But this seemed to be genuine stomach rumbling and not emotional craving, so I was fine with a few extra healthy snacks. Should keep my metabolism up... Then when I called to make a hair appt she had a cancellation opening, so I went ahead and took it, but ended up missing my workout class. Will plan to do some extra Friday.
Obstacles and how managed? Good day - baked 3 batches of cookies - only ate one and got the rest in the freezer for future weekend get-togethers here (we like to have people over, and it is usually impromptu or short notice, so I need to plan ahead).
A bit light on the food again - will need to eat a little more Sunday.
I don't have a good starting point since my weight has bounced around a lot over the past two months, hitting 190 a couple of times. I will use the Jan 1 value of 186 for a net loss of 2 lbs. Let's hope it looks better come April!!
Exercise Completed: P90X3 Agility (that I was supposed to do Wednesday) and P90X3 Challenge. I didn't mind combining since one is lower body and the other upper body.

Obstacles and how managed? Actually a really good day overall. Getting caught up at work, craving for sweets is lowering since I've been eating better. Just have to be cautious for Saturday since my calories were kind of low. Sometimes leads to overeating the next day.

Obstacles and how managed? Am behind on a work project and a little stressed - found myself in front of the vending machine. Chose pretzels and a granola bar (hello carbs...) over candy, and was still in range today, so I'll take it.
I’ve been on this Spark journey for about a year and a half. I lost 40 pounds the first year, but then gained half of it back over the past few months by overeating. I know what I need to do but also think that I need to find a different way to hold myself accountable. Spark streaks aren’t doing the trick anymore.
So I will try an accountability log in a place that is more visible to the Spark community, as I think this will help with overall accountability. I plan to report: ~If I tracked my food ~If I exercised ~If I met my water & freggie goals ~My calorie differential ~Any obstacles encounters and how managed
