Thank you for the welcomes emoticon . I'm already feeling very motivated. I almost took a taxi yesterday for a 20-minute walk because it was over eighty degrees. Changed my mind at the last minute after being here and made it into a 13-minute brisk walk. Got myself a few points for that. emoticon

I'd love to have a ticker at the bottom of my posts. How do I get one?

I wonder if there are other people in their 60s like me. I need to lose a minimum of 12 pounds but they told me at the gym that I need to lose about 25 pounds, and I agree with that as a long term goal.

I'm a teacher and I have children aged 32 and 29, and I'm originally from near London.
