I joined a gym this week and just started this website. Married, with child, midlife 30's crisis i guess LOL! I just want to be in better shape! Unfortunatly I weighed myself yesterday morning and gained 3 lbs by the end of the night. So I agree with above comment, weight does fluxuate. Maybe I shouldn't weigh myself for a month!

I hate to burst your bubble but that much of a weight loss in one day is pretty much impossible. Unless of course you are an Olympic athlete. Your weight fluctuates through out the day. I know it must be enticing to see the scale say that but it takes a lot more effort to lose that much weight. It is a sometimes an excruciatingly slow process. A realistic weight loss should be about .5 to 2 pound loss a week. The best thing you could do right now is get yourself acclimated to Sparks. I would recommend checking out the Sparkdiet. There is a wealth of information there.

I just joined and started my food tracker since breakfast yesterday. Got on the scale after breakfast today and went from 126 to 123 pounds. For Real. Can't believe how much conscious eating as I call it can have such a positive result.
