One thing you can do is exclude member-entered items, but that doesn't help if what you're looking for isn't already in the database. I will pass along your suggestions.

I find it very cumbersome to search through multiple entries for the same item. For instance: If you search for a frozen entree you will sometimes get 30+ entries, most of which are wrong due to the reformulation of the entree by the food company. Currently you list the name of the item and the user who entered it in the results box. Could you also list either the calorie count, date entered or at least have the newest item added come up at the top of the search result list? It's a pain to check the nutrition value of each line in the result box looking for one that matches to the current nutrition count. I'm guessing that's one of the reasons there are so many of the same thing listed by multiple people. If there is already a way to narrow the search to accomplish this I would be extremely grateful if you would share. Thanks so much.
