thank you Coach Jen for the info. I notice they say for my age group 310mg a day. My cardiologist has me on 400 and so far with the help of the Cardizem it has held the attacks at bay. I need more bran in my life.

I have SVTs but have been controlling them with magnesium and some of the meds the doc prescribed when I can't get my heart rate down myself. I know that menopause brings this on, and it did for me as well as other triggers but since I have been taking large doses of magnesium, I have not been to the ER to convert since 12/21/13. Does anyone have an idea about how to get more magnesium in their diet and still lose weight? Especially vegetarians.
