Chili - use just 1 lb of lean beef and lots of beans Shrimp cocktail
I make faux buffalo wings. Take a couple of pounds of chicken and slice it into strips. Put it in a non stick pan (no oil needed). While it's cooking combine 1 cup of chicken broth and 1/2 cup of Frank's hot sauce. The original recipe called for equal amounts of broth and frank's but I'm a big wuss so I doubled the broth. Add that to the chicken (it should be nearly cooked by now) and let it simmer until the sauce thickens. They taste close enough to the real deal and they're much healthier.
I want people to say "Wow, I can't believe you have two kids", not "You look great for having two kids"!

"Birds in Blankets" - Turkey lil smokies in low fat crescent rolls. Turkey lil smokies wrapped in turkey bacon Turkey lil smokies in a small crockpot with chili sauce and grape jelly (I like to use sugar free) Hummus/salsa/guacamole and veggies Lowfat cream cheese dip & fruit You can probably "slim down" some of your favorite snacks and dips if you really think hard about it. If youw ant something sweet, substitute canned pumpkin (NOT pie filling) or unsweetened applesauce in pretty much any boxed brownie or cake mix.

I love that idea... veggies for me to dip and chips for the guests. It perfect... I didn't even think of that.

First of all... congrats on the 27 lb loss! That is really wonderful! And have a great time on the run!
I think if you find a 'not so horrible for you' dip and have veggies and crackers/chips as dipping options, then those who want rich, can go for the crackers and those who want more healthy can go for the veggies. I find if the veggies are there in front of me, I make the right choice.

Wings / baked with ranch seasoning Little smokies Veggie tray / carrots olives celery pickles Humus dip Cream cheese & crab or salmon dip Cheese & salsa dip Deviled eggs Chili Oatmeal Cookies using applesauce for eggs and peanut butter for the butter or marg. Game time in your area is a factor, here it's dinner time & evening so it's my evening meal.
Ok people... so I have lost 27lbs total and have finally gotten to the point where I don't want to binge on the big day. With that in mind... please help me with healthy finger foods that others will want to eat and are low cal/fat for me.
To help me... I am running a super bowl sunday 10k race that morning so what I eat won't hurt me too much.
I did look in the recipe section and there wasn't just something for the Super Bowl. Unless I missed it... HERE IT IS!
