I am a WW dropout
I lost 20lbs with WW but then just stalled, my trainer suggested I try calorie counting instead. I was using MFP but did not feel I was really getting enough out of it. Just been using SP for a few days but so far I am very pleased with the site.
I am trying to concentrate on upping my protein and eating "real" food as much as possible.
I used to do both. I never agreed to accept that fruits were free so I always ate few fruits.
But when i changed how i eat and went to a more raw diet, neither SP or WW really works. Both are too based on the standard american diet. Really I have found the WW points and the SP calories work hand in hand. Members just need to learn what to eat and getting in all the points is not completely necessary. I remember when WW first did the adjustment, members were stressing because they actually got more points to use. What they didn't realize was that the points of foods had gone up in most cases as well.
I am low carb. But getting soooo tired of it! And starting to gain weight. I hear people get so hungry on WW. please let me know how you do with it! Good luck Karen

I am having good success being accountable with my food and activity with Sparkpeople and Weight Watchers. I couldn't do WW alone - in my many attempts. I guess whatever works! I just wanted to share this and see if there were anyone out there sharing this experience...
