Everyone's different, I prefer to eat in between meals because I get hungry if I don't. Thanks, ladies, I just got confused because the "snacks" section is after dinner, and wanted to make sure I was interpreting it correctly.

You're not "supposed" to eat 5 small meals; that's a way some people manage their food intake, others don't. :) I'm not a 5 small meal person. I eat three regular meals, and incorporate healthy snacks as needed.

What works for you is what matters, not what you're "supposed" to do!

I eat my snacks in the morning. If I don't carry snacks with me at all times, I freak out and want to eat everything in sight!

The five small meals isn't for everyone by the way. If it works for you, do it...but otherwise the old fashioned three meals works too. What matters is how many calories you eat overall, and that the food you consume is filled with nutritiousness...and is not a bunch of empty calories.

Eat your snack whenever it best suits you! I tend to eat mine between lunch and dinner, because it's the longest amount of time between meals, plus I like to work out in the afternoon and it's nice to have a little something in my stomach so I don't get ravenous at the gym. Your needs may be different, even on a day to day basis!

Hello everyone! I am new to SP (2nd full day) and I am following the meal plan designed by SP. I think I may be following it wrong. I was breaking up my breakfast and lunch and eating it throughout the day because I know you're supposed to eat 5 small meals, and I get hungry in between meals. Just today, I noticed a column for snacks!!(I do NOT know how I missed it!) Are these snacks supposed to be for in between breakfast and lunch, or after dinner? Or do we eat it whenever we feel best fit?
