i love running in the cold...20-30

i used to run when it snowed with my cross country team so it was never a big deal to me

get clothes that you feel comfortable in...i generally wear long running pants, a north face fleece, gloves and a hat

the weather doesnt bother me much, i refuse to run when it's hot lol

I live in Illinois, and I hate the cold and try not to run in it. The cold air kills my lungs, but other than that just bundle up.

It's my favorite time to run! I hate running in the summer when it makes me all hot and sweaty.

Try posting this over in Fitness... there's a lot of committed runners that frequent that board, and may not get down here to Motivation to see your question! I run in the cold, but I live in a warmer climate... "cold" here is generally 50 or 60!

I wish I could help you but with asthma and arthritis, I don't RUN during any season and avoid being out in the TOO COLD air at ALL times. Mostly I do indoor exercises - I belong to a fitness center. Good luck with your running - maybe you will get some answers - sorry I couldn't help.

I live in Co and in the mornings its about 20-30 degrees and I really want to learn to love running in the cold but I cant say I do at the moment. How do you stay motivated and warm on cold days? I have good workout gear I think the biggest thing I dont like is breathing in the air and if I wear a mask or face guard it gets soaked within 10 mins. Maybe I just not meant to be a winter runner but ideas would be awesome!
